Hello!
My name is Mitchell Apse, and I'm a writer, actor, comedian and producer currently based out of Chicago, IL. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and moved to Chicago in 2021 to pursue a Film and Television Degree at DePaul University. That wasn't enough though, and I knew that I wanted to make even less money in life, so I concentrated my studies in Comedy Filmmaking and dove hair-first into the sketch comedy and improv scene in Chicago. I am a graduate of The Second City Conservatory program, and over the past couple of years, I've gotten to work with so many amazing creators. With these people I have performed live over 100 times at places like The Second City, iO Theater and Annoyance Theater. Along with my live show endeavors, I'm a founding member of the digital sketch group Go For Broke, where I produce, edit, write, act, and direct sketches with my best friends. We started at the beginning the the year with a goal to make one sketch a month, and now we're four sketches in and just had one nominated for three different awards at DePaul's Premiere Film Festival 2025. I will continue creating digital comedy in any way that I can until I die and my old wrinkly body rots away and I'm so hella dead.
